Dad’s Pecan Pie

If you know my Dad, then you know that he makes an abundance of incredibly delicious pies around Thanksgiving and Christmas - we hope you enjoy his famous Pecan pie!

Ingredients:

3 eggs beaten

8 oz karo syrup

1 cup sugar

2 tablespoons of melted butter

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

6 oz pecans (halved)

1 pie crust

Directions:

  1. Mix well in a bowl: eggs, karo syrup, sugar, melted butter and vanilla

  2. Add pecans to mixture and stir

  3. Pour into pie crust

  4. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 70 minutes

Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (optional) and enjoy!
